Our community now has a free business tool to assist us during these hard economical times as we declare 2009, “Black Wall Street in North Texas”
Dallas Texas, December 17, 2008: Today the 400 members of the “BI Network” declare 2009 as the start of “Black Wall Street in North Texas”. We encourage members of the black community to trade more with black business people in their community, city and state. In 1921, the dollar circulated 36 to 100 times, sometimes taking a year for currency to leave the community. Now in 2008, a dollar leaves the Black community in 10 to15-minutes. We can keep doing the same things or change. Mr. Obama can not solve all our problems in 2009; we must focus on solving the problems in our local community. By doing so, we can create jobs and create an economic stimulus where we live, work and play. Our solution to assist in this economic empowerment in the black community is the Business Initiator. The web address is www.businessinitiator.ning.com and members can design their web page with photos, videos, rss feeds, text and links to their business websites. The “Business Initiator” website is free to join with no hosting fees. Currently over 400 business members are trading and networking with each other on the Business Initiator today. Consumers can join to create an on line garage sale or promote their home based business for free.
